Strategic Facility & Tent Removal
Sublatus was engaged to deliver the safe and efficient demolition of a maintenance support facility and a large sprung tent in Northern Alberta. The project involved comprehensive site setup, strategic planning, and the deployment of specialized equipment to dismantle multiple structures, including wash bay tents, trailers, locker room tents, and MSF bays. Throughout the process, the team prioritized responsible material management - segregating recyclables, landfilling insulation and tarping, and supporting the salvage of HVAC components. Every phase was completed with a strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence.

How We Work
Breaking Down Complexity With Expertise

Scope of Work
The scope included the complete demolition and removal of three maintenance facility bays, a large sprung tent, trailers, locker room tents, and supporting structures. Activities covered site setup, installation of safety signage, strategic staging of equipment and bins, and the systematic dismantling of all above-ground structures. Specialized operators and equipment were deployed for concrete and steel removal, with all materials segregated for recycling or disposal. Salvage operations for HVAC components were conducted prior to demolition, and the project concluded with thorough site cleanup and grading.

Our Approach
Our approach combined proactive planning with disciplined execution. Initial steps included site setup for safety and operational readiness, followed by staging of trailers and bins for debris management. We prioritized sustainability by salvaging HVAC systems before demolition and implementing strict material segregation protocols. Demolition was carried out in phases: tents, trailers, and locker room structures were dismantled using specialized excavators and processors, ensuring efficiency and control. Every phase adhered to environmental standards, with recyclable metals processed and remaining waste disposed of responsibly.

The Results
The project was completed safely and efficiently, with all recyclable metals processed and non-recyclable materials disposed of responsibly. Aluminum was segregated from ferrous materials and sent for recycling, while insulation and tarping were landfilled in compliance with environmental standards. Salvage efforts recovered key HVAC components before demolition began, reducing waste and maximizing asset reuse. The work was executed on schedule and without incident.
